In this part you have to complete a text with gaps; 3 options are given for each gap so, you have to be able to choose the right one.
The missing words are usually structural elements such as verb forms, determiners, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions…
Before choosing the right word you have to read the text without looking at the 3 possible answers.
While you are reading the text you have to think about the word that you would write in each gap.
My advice is to write the word that you think is the most appropriate, and if you have any doubt with a gap, try to decide if the word that should be written can be a noun, determiner, verb…
Once you have finished completing the text compare your answers with the options given and choose the best one.
Don’t leave any gap without an answer.
